Infertility is an important public health problem, concerning one of every six couples. Different regions, countries and cultures of the world in research infertility common sexual problems are reveal. Infertile person / couples, sexual dysfunction may be a preexisting condition or receiving a diagnosis of infertility can occur then. when the relations disorders or sexual problems results at infertile couples health care personnel’s interventions and supports is very important. The role of infertility counselor in the prevention of sexual dysfunction, both medical treatment issues and couples communication issues include. Communication issues, sex education and sexual issues for couples that includes support programs. In this article, infertility, sexual dysfunction in infertil couples, prevention of sexual dysfunction and role of infertility counsellor are discussed according to the literature.

İnfertil Çiftlerde Cinsel Fonksiyon ve İnfertilite Danışmanının Rolü

İnfertilite, her altı çiftten birini ilgilendiren, önemli bir toplum sağlığı sorunudur. Dünyanın farklı bölgeleri, ülkeleri ve kültürlerinde yapılan araştırmalar infertilitede cinsel sorunların genel olarak sık rastlandığını ortaya koymaktadır. İnfertil birey/çiftlerde, cinsel işlev bozukluğu önceden var olan bir durum da olabilir ya da infertilite tanısı aldıktan sonrada ortaya çıkabilir. İnfertilite, ilişkilerde bozukluk ya da cinsel problemlerle sonuçlandığı zaman, sağlık personelinin desteği ve müdahaleleri çok önemlidir. Cinsel işlev bozukluğunun önlenmesinde infertilite danışmanının rolü, hem tıbbi tedaviyle ilgili konuları hem de çiftlerin iletişimiyle ilgili konuları içerir. İletişim konuları, çiftlere verilen cinsel eğitim ve cinsel sorunlarla ilgili destek programlarını içerir. Bu makalede; infertilite, infertil çiftlerde cinsel işlev bozuklukları, cinsel işlev bozukluklarının önlenmesi ve infertilite danışmanının rolü literatür doğrultusunda ele alınmıştır.
