The Poverty Created By Globalizatıon: Child Poverty

Although globalization, a popular concept in today’s world, has brought together many technological developments, it has created some inconveniencies as well. The poverty created by inequality of income which takes place on top of the list of inconveniencies hits mostly children, thus affecting the future. Child poverty which comes on top of the list of issues to be handled as a starting point, brings many issues such as child labor, child brides, uneducated society, high rate of crime together. The poor children who become poor because of their families’ poverty live this problem both socially and economically plus in terms of health issues. Those issues cause their deaths. The global world getting stronger day by day thanks to Neo-liberal policies cannot stop the deaths of nearly 18 thousand children every day. The most important role is for the governments. Because child poverty is an important issue both concerning/affecting the whole society and due to its chronic nature, it must be avoided only by conscious governmental regulations.

Küreselleşmenin Yarattığı Yoksulluk: Çocuk Yoksulluğu

Günümüz dünyasının popüler kavramlarından olan küreselleşme bir- çok teknolojik gelişmeyi beraberinde getirmekle birlikte, bazı olumsuzluklar da yaratmaktadır. Bu olumsuzlukların başında gelen gelir eşitsizliğinin yarattığı yoksulluk en çok çocukları dolayısıyla da geleceği etkilemektedir. Buradan hareketle önlenmesi/tedbir alınması gereken konuların başında gelen çocuk yoksulluğu çocuk işçiliği, çocuk gelin, eğitimsiz toplum, yüksek suç oranı gibi birçok sorunu da beraberinde getirmektedir. Ailelerinin yoksul olması nedeniyle yoksul olan çocuklar bu sorunu hem sosyal hem ekonomik hem de sağlık açısından yaşamakta ve bu durum ölümlerine neden olabilmektedir. Neo - liberal politikalarla birlikte her geçen gün daha da güçlenen küresel dünya günde neredeyse 18 bin çocuğun ölmesini engelleyememektedir. Burada en önemli görev devletlere düşmektedir. Çünkü çocuk yoksulluğu tüm toplumu ilgilendiren/etkileyen ve kronik olması nedeniyle önüne geçilmesi ancak bilinçli devlet yönetimiyle mümkün olabilecek önemli bir sorundur
