Theories and models in nursing discipline; creating the base of nursing education, practice and research and contributing the qualification and development. In this review is explained, nurses can planning initiatives to using together with Bandura's Social Cognitive Theory and Dennis Breastfeeding Self-Efficacy for encouraging, supporting and protection of breastfeeding.

Hemşirelik disiplininde kuram ve modeller; hemşirelik eğitimi, uygulamaları ve araştırmalarına bir temel oluşturmakta, nitelik ve gelişmesine katkı sağlamaktadır. Bu derlemede, hemşirelerin emzirmenin özendirilmesi, desteklenmesi ve korunmasında Bandura’nın Sosyal Bilişsel Kuramı ve Dennis’in Emzirme Öz-Yeterlilik Kuramını birlikte kullanarak planlayabilecekleri bakım girişimleri açıklanmıştır.
