Abdominal Assessment

Because the abdominal cavity contains many of the body’s vital organs,
the abdominal examination provides direct and indirect information
about the functioning of the gastrointestinal and the genitourinary
systems. This article includes that history taking related to the abdomen
and some clues about the interpretation of the subjective data; using
the inspection, auscultation, percussion and palpation techniques for
the abdominal examination, and the evaluation of the objective data.

Abdominal Değerlendirme

Karın boşluğu içinde birçok organ yer aldığı için, abdominal muayene
gastrointestinal ve genito-üriner sistem hakkında doğrudan ya da
dolaylı bilgi edinmemizi sağlar. Bu makalede, abdomene yönelik öykü
alma ve elde edilen subjektif verilerin yorumlanmasına yönelik bazı
ipuçları; abdomenin inspeksiyon, oskültasyon, perküsyon ve palpasyon
tekniği ile muayene edilmesi ve elde edilecek objektif verilerin
değerlendirilmesi konuları ele alınmıştır.
