Nursing, Aesthetic and Art

In the literature though art and aesthetic dimension of nursing has been ignored. Nursing which is an holistic caring profession in the sustainability and development of the health of a family and a society can also be seen as an art of helping; for, nurses just do not act, but also think and feel. If nursing care, with a holistic view, are formed with individual creative mind, and reaches the aesthetic sense, a satisfactory interaction may be possible for both those serving and being served. Thus, the aim of this study is to discuss the relation between art and nursing taking aesthetic dimension of nursing into account based on the review of the views of authors and studies in the literature.

Hemşirelik, Estetik ve Sanat

Alanyazında hemşireliğin sanat ve estetik boyutu çok fazla vurgulanmamıştır. Birey, aile ve toplumun sağlığının sürdürülmesi ve geliştirilmesinde bütüncül bakım veren bir meslek olan hemşirelik aynı zamanda bir yardım etme sanatıdır. Çünkü hemşire sadece davranmaz, düşünür ve hisseder. Hemşirelik bakımı; bütüncül bakış açısıyla, bireysel yaratıcı düşünceyle şekillenip, estetik duyuma ulaşırsa, hizmet alan ve veren için tam anlamıyla doyum sağlayıcı bir etkileşim mümkün olabilir. Bu bağlamda, bu derlemenin amacı; hemşirelik mesleğinin estetik ve sanat ile arasındaki ilişkiyi, konu ile ilgili ulusal ve uluslararası düşünürlerin eserlerine, dayanarak tartışmak, yazarların kendi duygu ve düşüncelerini okurla paylaşmaktır.
